This doesn't really change the original moods too much, but you will want to turn down the music volume since the default level feels like it could ruin the ambiance and drown out the speech volume. Thanks to the involvement of Koji Igarashi, the music sounds more in line with a Castlevania title with its loud gothic score permeating almost every scene. The music is another thing that has changed. This image is of the credits rolling using my mobile.Īnd from this PSP review about the game:
Koji Igarashi is listed in the credits as (a) producer:Īpologies for crappy image, the screen capture function on my Vita was only capturing the "Would you like to exit the game" type message after screengrab invocation. But getting all endings without help would drive you insane, hence the walkthrus.
Really enjoyed this one, very enjoyably clever game that doesn't treat you like an idiot. It does not take a long time for you to achieve all as long as you abuse the save system to go back and try other branches. But to get all endings, I would absolutely recommend walkthrus. You should be able to achieve 1 given ending yourself. Shadow of Memories / Zone of the Enders: Z.O.E: Tentou Houei-you Movie-ban Shadow of Memories / Zone of the Enders: Z.O.E : PS2: 1.00: Demo: SLPM 61004: Shadow of Memories: PSP: 1.02: Original: ULJM-05512: Shadow of Memories : PS2: 1.00: Tentou Houei-you Movie-ban: SLPM 60135. I recommend to play it 100% (only takes around 2 hours) without walkthrus - but to speak to different people until they start repeating themselves and to read the game log book as it gets updated to work out the puzzles yourself. Presents characters that you discover more and more about until things all make the most sense after all the various endings. It's a time travel based story set in the same "old town quarter" covering 500 years or so. Available with difficulty on DVD on PC, but regularly available on PS2 or the latest and best iteration on PSP. Very different, was overlooked by critics at the time. I played it through and got all 8 endings. This is mainly achieved by traveling through time to different hours, days. Each chapter has a time limit, during which Eike has to find a way to prevent the murderer from killing him. There are no action elements in the game, and the protagonist has no health bar. "Shadow of Destiny", produced by Koji Igarashi (the father of the MetroidVania/IgaVania genre) is a great 3rd person action adventure with more emphasis on story. Shadow of Memories ( Shadow of Destiny in North America) is an adventure game.
